Einor Cadwallader

I am the wife of the beloved Rector at Tipton Grange, which is on Brooke’s estate. I was born to a good family, but married ‘down’, which was not an ideal choice to my friends and family. But, little do I care about their opinions. I care very much for my dear Humphrey and am quite happy where I am. I consider myself a practical woman who enjoys playing matchmaker to unmarried young folk in my spare time, like to dear Dorothea, Celia, and Sir James Chettam. Though some of my endeavors seem to have failed me. I’m quite the busybody, and find it in my sense of duty to keep tabs on all things happening here in Middlemarch.
