Mary dear, I do agree we are limited, but we have a certain…power that is unspoken. I agree with you saying to dear Dorothea about her being obedient to her husband, you should never do every wish he wanted, if you were opposed to such views. At least, not without a good argument! For if there is any advice I would give to you young ladies, it is us women who can sway a man with the power of speech, emotion, and shall I say..alluring nature? Behind closed doors a woman and a man are quite equal in my opinion, it is only when society enters the relationship that things become unequal. I do appreciate your opinions about Mina Loy though Mary, and I’m very impressed of your knowledge and interpretations at your young age. You are very head-strong my dear, which is a great trait to possess in our world.
