I am afraid I do not understand where Miss Loy is coming from. She seems very angry at men, but I cannot fathom why. Men in my day have done nothing but make sure a woman is well taken care of, can she not see that is a man’s purpose in life? Perhaps she is pursuing the wrong type of men and she should seek a more gentlemen type of a man. A nice guy, if you will.  Then maybe she would stop writing all this foolishness about men, and focus on the good we can bring them if women like her would only let us.  If she were to focus her attention on finding a better suited man, she would not be so bitter.
