I felt the same as I started reading this wonderful book. Mrs. Dalloway is hard to put down, but it seems as if it will be a difficult one to unravel. I was also intrigued by Peter, but I also got the feeling that he was never the man for her. So I hope that they do not reconcile any love that was once before them.

I agree with you that the book was difficult to read, but it has become easier to understand as the story goes on. I just hope Mrs. Dalloway keeps to her senses and stays with the man who has always taken care of her!
