Lydgate, how I do believe you could be correct. If the weather were to be so gloomy than the flowers would be a dread to look at. It would be sad to see them look so depressing. I would not want to even look out the window. I do enjoy the rain, but I must say that if it did rain for weeks I would never want to see rain again. Though there are some glorious days of April, but if only we could jump to may. They do say, April showers bring may flowers.
