Mary, I am simply confused because it seems obvious, to me, that Mina Loy has been putting herself in negative situations resulting in finding ill suited men. This is what I believe is causing her bitterness towards men, and her”I do not want anything to do with them” attitude. If Mina Loy would simply find a way to out herself in a positive atmosphere, maybe she would find a man worthy of settling down with.

This is why I am confused over why Loy seems to give up on love. It just seems as if Loy is always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
