I too would not want to share a name with someone so vile! To call Septimus a coward for taking his life is by far more inhuman than killing the man himself.  Unfortunately, dear Mr Holmes, seriousness of shell shock was not taken seriously–mainly because doctors at this time do not understand what shell shock even is! I do pray however, that if we ever have another war, doctors will start to learn what shell shock is and will learn how to treat it better.
