It was horrible the way Septimus had to go. But he had chosen to go to that particular physician. It is one’s own fault for what they choose to do or whom they choose to associate with. Yes this physician was definitely in the wrong, because the duty of a “doctor” is to protect their patients not harm them. but I look at it as if Septimus would have chosen his physician better than he would probably still be alive.
