Dr. Fielding's Course

Peter Walsh, the new James Chettam?

·

Peter Walsh seems quite obsessed with this Mrs. Dalloway, much like dear Sir Chettam was, well is with Dorothea. Quite interesting don’t you think, I feel as if Virginia has read my Middlemarch. While yes Peter doesn’t stew in it as much as Chettam, he is quite stuck on how ‘he doesn’t love her;’ when quite frankly he does. Peter is more of a vocal, although still as snarky as Chettam, with more to say. Both Chettam and Peter do not know what goes on in a woman’s head, and most likely Peter will learn very quickly that Clarissa Dalloway is not as happy as he thinks.

We shall see, we shall see.
