Someone seems slightly bitter Mr. Chettam, but one must know that love is a fickle little thing. Neither here nor there. Just because Dorothea chose Mr. Casaubon does not mean that every woman choses the wrong person, it could have been arranged for all you know. Mr Eliot was quite vague in his storytelling, but really, I understand where you are coming from my dear. But you do have to believe me when Mr. Casaubon is much better suited with Dorothea, you would have much too bored with her and the nonsense of cottage building.
