Reading this chapter of novel ‘Ulysses,’ was terribly confusing, it seemed that there was no structure to how the story went on, or if there was, I could barely see threads of it. For example, from the said tastes at the beginning and the uneven transition to the dialogue, I honestly believed at first that Mr. Leopold Bloom was the name of the cat! I won’t even go into how someone could even think to put the, shall we say, base functions of the body into a novel that most anyone could simply pick up and read!
