Honestly Celia, why should a woman not help contribute to society.  We are equally as intelligent and our insight could prove helpful to another, be it a man or a woman.  I do not understand how you and uncle find my desires foolish.  There is more out there in life than getting married right away and having children.  I could help the poor villagers that live on uncle’s property.  Surely we should provide a sound home for them?  I shall meet with Mr. Chettam in the morning to go over our plans for the new village.  While there I will visit with you and baby Arthur.
