Author Brooke it is not that I did not see Septimus demise coming it is that I was expecting a different way of death. I also felt a twinge of regret at his death for he is truly a brave man and did not deserve death unlike many others I sentence to pain. I am all for a bloody mess on the pavement or steel spikes from a fence spearing through a man. However I expected Septimus death to come by water maybe a slow drowning, it is said to be one of the most painful and fear invoking ways to die after all. He is just a man and while I was surprised, in a day or two, I will forget all about him and move on to the next poor soul in my immortal life.
