I agree with you to an extent, Mary. I feel like March did have some things forced upon her, but some things she had a say in. Which is why my opinion on the matter is down the middle, so to speak. I feel like March could have made better decisions in the beginning, and maybe Henry would not have felt the need to purse her in the manner that he did. However, this is still a matter of ifs, and we may never know how Henry would have reacted if March would have appeared as a “proper” woman.
